Stand-up
Most divorced men would quiver at the prospect of their ex starting to do stand-up comedy. I was only a little anxious.
Tonight was the graduation performance of S's class of eight from Comedy School. Remaining the very best of friends with the mother of my children, I went along to offer my support.
It was a great evening. Some performers were certainly better than others, but no one bombed. They were all funny, some very funny indeed. S played on her role as an unusual mother to our two boys, as a shaman, her stories mostly about the use of magic as a parenting tool. They were hilarious. I'm not sure that the audience fully understood that she wasn't making anything up!
