Ilmington

This morning I sowed some flower seeds and herb seeds and set them up in my old greenhouse. Then after lunch I took the dogs to Ilmington. I was planning to take them up the hills there but Sid wasn’t keen so after a wander around the village and looking at the church and water fountain on the green we headed off for a canal walk. By this time the sun was shining and we had a good walk from Edstone aqueduct towards Wilmcote. The main photo is of Sid and Pierce by Ilmington church and the second is of the old water fountain on the green. I thought it was a holy well but not sure, it could just be a water fountain.
