Haircut

Thanks for all your lovely comments for my dentist.  I emailed some photos across to the dental hospital and got a lovely reply back. That dentist is leaving that post to move to our main hospital so he might end up being the Jedi's dentist when he goes for his general anesthetic.  The receptionist says she will be printing the photos off too. 

First thing this morning when everyone was organised we got the bus to town to take the jedi for a haircut.  He started to get upset when he knew where we were going.  But he did absolutely amazing sitting on my knee. The hairdresser was able to use clippers and scissors this time on him. She couldn't believe the difference in him. He squirmed a few times but he didn't cry or get upset. And as you can see from the photo he wasn't very happy afterwards and he was quite quiet for a long time. But I went and got them all ice lollies as a treat. The lolly jes holding in the photo was giving to him by the hairdresser.  I don't normally allow this type of candy and thankfully he just held it and didn't even sook on it once. 

When we got back home my twin sister,  her kids and my mum turned up. The wildlings were very happy.  I voiced my opinions to her. She said she got all worked up when my sister asked her to come sit with the wildlings that she didn't think she knew what bus stop to get off at if she had to come. But I said I wouldn't ask again and then I left it at that. The jedi socialised with her the best he's done with anyone. He was chatting to her and asking her to play the racetrack with him. He even gave her a few hugs. Goodness knows what came over him. But all the wildlings enjoyed seeing everyone.  They have not long left . 

Xander is quite upset as my nephew said he would stay the night but then changed his mind. So he held it together until they left and then had a good cry. I'm not sure what made him change his mind. He did get a little upset the last time he stayed. Amd I would never force a child to stay over if they didn't want to. 

I'm now making the next couple of nights dinner for myself and Mr R.  Its a easy dinner amd means I don't really need to cook tomorrow.  So that's a bonus.

I've uploaded a photo of me and my niece in the extras. She absolutely loves stranger things and dresses in that style. Mr R  says I look like I'm a children's TV presenter the way I'm dressed today
