Was pootling along on the DLR and saw this crash. My heart stopped. It looked horrific; with the attendance of a fire engine, a police car, three ambulances and swarms of fire fighters and onlookers.

Then I realised it was a film set with the crew making the most of a non commuting bank holiday day.

Thinking about it Poplar is has quite car chase, car crash, car acrobatics hub. Dual carriage ways, under passes, train bridge, funky pedestrian crossing bridge - all with the iconic Canary Wharf in the background.

Cloudwalker was gutted that he didn't have his kit. No super zoom lens to give us clues to what the lights and crew were shielding. So I'll just have to wait to see it on the telly. It won't be hard to spot; it's a bright yellow car.
