Leaving

I've now reached the time of year when I can't wait to have finished report writing - sadly I still have seven to go, though several are approaching completion.

Sitting at the computer such a lot is playing havoc with my back and hips, but I try to keep exercising even when it hurts a bit. After a rainy day, I decided to stay local and had a quick dusk stroll round Ferry Meadows where the paths were at least fairly dry. 

The light was quite strange, with dark grey clouds on the western horizon contrasting with peachy hues above, here reflected in the water. The Black-headed Gulls were just about to leave for their night-time roost.
