A rainy school run

Today we take and fetch Violet from school and on both occasions it managed to rain, although not so much this afternoon as here, this morning.  Not that Violet minded the wet: she was hugely excited as today is swimming day, which clearly went well as she was very happy when she came out of school.

Today I shared this GoFundMe post with great sadness.  I have known about the devasting story behind it  for a while now but seeing it all in print is hard and my heart breaks for my friends.
