Snow!

It's snowing here! The whole Portland metro region is under a winter storm warning, with much greater snowfall east of the city. The Columbia River Gorge winds bring cold air into the eastern part of the region. There's already 6" of the white stuff in Vancouver, WA, just across the river. Here where I live, in Rock Creek, in westernmost Portland, it just started snowing an hour ago. No accumulation yet.

Busy day with meetings and acupuncture, a quick grocery shopping and another quick appointment at the dentist. I succumbed to buying this lovely hellebore even though I really don't really have a place to plant it. So it's sitting on my new patio table, now being snowed on!
