Camel bones

Yes it really is made of camel bone. I got this in Meknes, Morocco. The guy selling it wanted to assure me it was genuine and not plastic so he whipped out a little torch and attempted to try and burn it. I wasn't expecting that at all. He told me the color of the bone was tinted with henna. It of course was a little dusty (everything in Morocco is) and he quickly wet some newspaper and wiped it off. Anything for a sale!
I am trying to decide where to hang it so while I had it out I figured I'd Blip it.
I was babysitting most of the day for the grandchildren and the sun never did come out so it was a lazy day and that was just fine with me.
