Geese!

Inspite of the awful weather ( not terrible here just snow then ice now possibly more snow, but less than an inch), or maybe because of it ,we had thousands of geese flying over today. Mixed v's of Canada geese and snow geese. Unfortunately I missed the snow geese as I was gawking at them and realized too late I should get my camera. So typical. Most of them went north but one large flock circled and landed somewhere  over the hill fairly close by  by. This is the second sign of spring Ive seen, the first was the mixed flock of grackles and redwings that invaded my feeders at home last weekend. But this says spring in a very large, loud way! Love it!
