On my walk.

Two white Peacocks on a fence.

Other birds seen 30-40 Siskins feeding high in conifers and a flock of a hundred or more Thrushes almost all Redwing but some obvious Fieldfare as well.

Between the showers a drive to Lymefield Garden Centre failing to decide on anything until it came to the farm shop goodies.  Cheese and Asparagus  quiche for our tea when we got back plus Chocolate Fudge Cake and few other expensive items like Tomatoes - the lady at till anxiously warning of the price £7.75 a kilo - 2 instead of the original 3 purchased.  It was a special occasion shop rather than a weekly foods.   It’s a big week for my sister as she finally gets her state pension on Friday, 6 years later than she thought it would be.

Evening with TV off and Radio 3 concert on.
