A stressed out morning. I had a dentist’s appointment! Because the Ambleside practice has been closed for months* I had to get to Windermere (it’s in the same group) which isn’t a problem but finding parking could have been. I did consider getting the bus but that might have been running late. I’m sure you don’t want to read details about the visit.

Afterwards I automatically headed to Bowness, forgetting that I was going to avoid it this week because of the traffic lights. I was lucky …… the lights have gone. I was even luckier to find a parking space. Just a short wander with my phone camera to get a blip,

* don’t know if the new dentist I saw last June got a better offer and left or if they couldn’t justify the winter heating bills. Looks like it will be reopening soon.
