Grey Heron

The 4 Heron were around today and all got a feed. Going up early seems to be working as there are very few dog walkers around - I think the rain helped a bit today as well.
The Heron mating season is very nearly upon us as can be seen by the regular males pinkish tinge to his beak. His eye is more yellow but that is not so clear from the photo. I posted the regular male as his is the most defined change and it obviously doesn't affect the young ones!
The crows were back in force and all got some biscuits (a couple of brave crows nabbed a bit of fish from the heron)!
