today i was at the annual youth work summit in birmingham. a day jam-packed-full of amazing and inspirational speakers: from psychologists to slam poets to ministry leaders to the legend that is sir tony campolo. so much amazing stuff to process.

during the day there was a 'takeover' where the young people themselves got the chance to present. this guy has an amazing story, beating cancer at the age of 18. he spoke and rapped and pretty much smashed it! and the best news is that he lives in Shrewsbury so i got treated to some more rapping on the way home.
