Problem Isolated

Well, I identified the source of the problem with our dryer. We've been lucky that the dryer that came with the house has worked - for the most part - for the last 25 years.  Today I replaced the wall outlet, after carefully making sure the power was off, and we replaced the dryer.
We had a dryer at the condo that was not being used, so for a $7 outlet and some cheap swear words, we're back in business!
