Neighborhood egret was waiting for dinner to swim by as he stood on the neighbor's artificial reef.  I saw him fishing there this morning with great success, so I suppose he decided to come back for dinner.
We had two artificial reefs beneath the dock, loaded with marine life including crabs but when we came back from evacuating for hurricane Ian in September, the storm had swept them away!  Amazing because they were attached to the dock pilings with steel cables.
