After the 20 miles of dog walking over the weekend, the pup seemed more than happy to doze his way through the morning with occasional visits to the outside world. Which meant I was able to deal with the ever increasing workload.
At lunchtime I took Loki for a high tempo blast around the park (the ball helped) and then stuck him in the kitchen whilst i sped across town to let Barry's dogs out whilst he was away in Dundee, trying to sort out his mother's integration into long term care caused by dementia. So a speedy 25km and back to the grind. Another brief wlak in the park with Loki and I eventually logged off at 6; then took the pup (finally!) off out for a proper walk.
We had a nice twilight wander along the shoreline to Silverknowes and back again; I'd hoped to get a bus at Morrison's but the bus tracker did it's usual disappearing act and as its easier to walk the dog than stand with him, we made it all the way back home, just in time to board a bus to drop Loki off.
I was instructed to pop him though the door and leave with any contact with Her lass and within 5 minutes was on bus home
Macaroni cheese (with added stilton and a smidge of bacon) and then set about reading a few things I'd picked up recently.
