Sphinx

Took my friends to London today and had a lovely day. Walked along the Embankment where I took this photo of one of the Sphinx. Feel its slightly cheating as the art in this belongs to someone long passed away who sculptered this. Nevertheless I liked what I saw and this is how I saw the finished image when I took it.

The rest of our journey took us upto Tower Bridge and a return journey via the river ferry.

THE HIGHLIGHT however was Borough Market by London Bridge station. What a fab place of food and associted smells. I think I said this in my last London Blip but I really can recommend a trip along the embankment there is so much to see and do. I havent even mentioned our wander around The Tate!
