Green lichen

I’ve fallen behind with posting my blip and trying to catch up before I get left too far in the past. A few of us had a meeting at the community its orchard and this is where we spotted this flamboyant lichen. I’ve not seen such a green and leafy lichen before. It was quite eye-catching. 
The orchard meeting went well and resulted in sourcing more tree guards to help combat rabbits which are intent on chewing the bark of the apple trees. It’s incredible how high these creatures can reach in their search for a tasty morsel!
