Filigree

Spent the morning at the charity shop and the afternoon at the pub.

On entering the pub the guy behind the bar took pity on me and handed me a length of paper towel to mop my face with because I resembled a drowned rat. I think the word for the rain today was 'torrential'.

Discovered that one of the clues we didn't get yesterday was the word 'poetaster'.

Quite glad we didn't get it. Wouldn't really like to have it in my vocabulary thank you.
