Today we welcomed my nephew into the world!
He was 2 weeks early but arrived at 4.55am, weighing in at 7lb 2ozs. Mother and son are both doing well. Dad survived the birth too which is a bonus as we thought he may faint!

Theo Robert French was a mere 12 hours old when this was taken; I told you impatience is a virtue...I couldn't wait to get in there for a cuddle!! Mr A declined the invitation saying that Theo was too fragile for him to hold right now.
However, on the way home he said the real reason he didn't want to hold him was because (& I quote) 'he still had fanny-scabs on him' (a bit of dried blood in his hair), and the mention of a nappy change also had him twitching & prompted a sharp exit for us.
And I thought I was the non maternal one in the relationship!
