Late Departure

A fierce day of wind. Almost 60mph+ all day with a couple of gusts hitting 70. I stay on the east side so had a bit of shelter but had to have 3 short walks. The last walk took me past the NorthLink ferry terminal. Departure is delayed by over 3 hours and the trip will now bypass Orkney and head straight for Aberdeen. I pity anybody on the trip tonight especially when it hit open water past Sumburgh Head.
