Slippers in waiting

Had my scan and been moved to a very noisy ward. One lady crying and moaning and another shouting for the police . Think it is going to be a fun night. Oh and a ripple mattress motor is joining in the cacophony.
Might request some ear plugs. Put in a request for Louis Armstrong on hospital radio!
Nurse concerned I have dry elbows. Least of my worries!
