Finding the containment area was easy; the corridors had colour-coded strips indicating the various areas of the facility.

What Kate had said previously, about the organisation's arrogance concerning its own security, still seemed to hold true. They'd put so much effort into keeping people out, if you were on the inside it was assumed you had a right to be there.

Mindful of what I'd promised Kate, I took some video clips of the corridors and uploaded them to her journalist mate's website. It was lucky that the phone made everything simple, as I'm no technical expert. All I had to do was hit "send" and it was done.

Finding the containment area, which still gave me an odd shiver of recognition, I saw the computer terminal was exactly where Kate had said it would be. And once again, the organisation's belief in its security seemed to hold true: it wasn't password-protected.

Tapping the keys, I easily found the document I was looking for, giving the list of where detainees were being held.

Quickly scrolling through a list of the different areas in the facility, I saw Jen's name - and couldn't suppress a hollow laugh.

She was being held, it seemed, in Room 101.
