sunshade deployed
The flocks of Cedar waxwings are thinning out in the neighborhood (probably because the Juniper berries are thinning out from their feasting on them!). So I saw only this one sitting on a power line, with its eye in the shade of its crest. It reminded me of a lifeguard standing watch at the beach, with tossled hair poking out of a visor. And it reminded me that summer will indeed come again this year.
