Reflections

One of the innovations in the redesign of Union Terrace Gardens was this fountain in front of His Majesty's Theatre. The water is only a few centimetres deep, maybe five, or even less. On one side the water cascades down, a kind of "infinity pool" effect. The statue of William Wallace now stands in the pool.

Thanks to some sunlight, I was able to pick up the reflection of the new apartment complex next to Tripple Kirks.

The sun only appeared for a few hours, and it disappeared behind clouds not long after I had taken this picture.
