We saw a lot of Ramsgate on this whole day there... We explored the harbour, walked along the coast, and toured the streets. It is a charming place, and has rather quickly slotted itself in at the top of our Kent coastal town rankings (up there with Folkestone and Herne Bay).
We went to the restaurant on East Pier (one of the harbour walls) in the evening, and had the darkness of the sea outside the window on one side, and the harbour lights visible out of the windows on the other side of the ship-like building.
