The parade

The carnival parade in our village was always a short one. However, because the village center is also not very big, you can easily visit it three or four times.
Bert and I went there to watch dressed in carnival outfit. The parade was even shorter than ever. Carnival associations, the militia and the wind orchestra were missing. The only music we heard came from two different small occasional bands and a lot of booming from music boxes (which I can't really call music).

After more than an hour we were back home. We saved ourselves the second to fourth viewing. Carnival is not fun in such a village and we dread the crowds in Maastricht where we always had a lot of fun. Earlier.
