Cocking Leylandii

Clear blue skies all day today. We muttered about surfing but did the grown up thing and cooked breakfast (at lunchtime) on the BBQ then started 'trimming' the Leylandii hedge at the bottom of the garden.

It was about 12ft high, it is now down to about 8ft and not so bushy for about 2/3 of it. It's a very long hedge.

We're all waiting for Red to go to sleep now so the rest of us can watch Skyfall after Bella made pizzas for tea!
