Pre-shrove

A busy morning at church with a double baptism and a meeting of the congregation interspersed with a pancake breakfast.

The young people had organised the fund raising event with a range of condiments to go with the pancakes. I opted for blueberries and lemon juice.

A good walk was needed in the afternoon. Amongst other TV caught up with the first act of La Boheme on BBC4. The subtitles helped greatly alongside the music.
