Tiring Day for Some

Lovely weather, sunny, not to hot or windy, a feel of Spring in the air.
Another day of planting but not much done. My main tool today was the electric saw as I encountered a lot of thick roots from the conifer hedge. I hope that cutting them out will their reduce the water uptake, leaving more for the new plants.
Despite the feline impersonation Dudley is still a dog. Today he chased a ball around the garden for 10 minutes or so, barked any any one or any thing that dared to pass the house and eat his tea. Other than that he slept. Sounds like quite a good life to me.
