Tree walk, glass works and fun..

Our treetop walk in the Bavarian Forest this morning was truly amazing. This tower height to the top is 44 metres. The walk itself 1,1300 metres. At the top of the tower you are above tree height and very exposed. In today’s wind and rain, we felt exposed! Just magnificent to be up so high and yet so safe. We didn’t see any of the wildlife known to live in the forest but it’s there and fascinating to hear about.

Then onto a glass works outlet and to appreciate just how skilful and creative these artists are. Such beautiful pieces! If money were no object my bag would be full! And the prices are deserving of the work, so no grudges there.

Time also for some photo fun, and to people watch in the Beergarten restaurant over a coffee.

It’s rained much of the day but we’ve stayed dry under cover of the trees and in the glassworks.

Home for dinner, and an early night. Husky rides tomorrow.
