Winter Sun

We are in La Palma in the Canary Islands for a week of winter warmth (in theory) and walking.

 This is the summit of Pico Bejenado, at 1840m one of the highest on the island. The view is across an old volcano caldera to the other side, La Palma being made up of a chain of volcanos, active, dormant and extinct. 

This was the first we had seen of the sun all day and we walked through the clouds to get to the bright sunshine on top.
