Solidarity March Dublin

As the banner says it is not a refugee crisis it is a housing crisis. I remember when we bought our first house in the 70s we weren't earning great money but we could afford a mortgage. It is impossible for young people to do that now. It is nice to see a lot of young people involved in issues that matter; racism, refugee welfare, housing crisis, LBG, transgender. These are the people who bear most of the burden of discrimination and are the subject of bad behaviour and intolerance in our society. We have moved on a lot but we need to address these issues.
