Poppy....

This is Poppy a cross Poodle/Spaniel that my father has just welcomed into his home.. Jack the Labrador seems to have accepted this bundle of mischief without murmer..

She has already sharpened her teeth on my thight!!!

I took the long road down the M1/M25 to Surrey to visit my father and will be staying overnight and travelling back tomorrow.. My sister will also arrive tomorrow and we will celebrate my father's 78th birthday.
Two years ago he had a massive stroke and has been left without use of his right leg and arm.. Before this he was an absolutely inspired Nature Photographer - he has not picked up his camera since and it is heartbreaking to see his decline.
What is worse is his brain is as active as ever and he never was a good patient...
I cannot seem to convince him that photography is still an option albeit a massively different one but he will not be convinced and if he cannot take birds in flight then there is no point...
What to do......
