Didn’t get to sleep for ages ( strange bed). We had breakfast , walk d Betsy and then set off for Southwell. Stopped at Reg Taylor’s ( garden centre) first. It’s been in existence for ages and has always had a reputation for expensive but good quality plants etc. no change today! They had lots of plants that aren’t often seen in other places so have decided to ask for money/ garden vouchers for my birthday and go back there. Had coffee and then drove the short way to Southwell. It was very grey by the time we got there and the photo doesn’t do the beautiful minster justice. Bought some snowdrops’in the green’ from the market, had a good mooch around the shops, bought a birthday present and also a new black coat marked down to half price. It was still expensive but I love it and it Willa useful spring/autumn coat and also for when I, very rarely , go out in the evening.
Had a delicious lunch at the deli- Moroccan chicken flatbread and shared a portion of chips- and then went back to Ju’s via the farm shop for their lovely fresh veg and beef mince.
Had a quick cup of tea and then I came home via Sainsbury’s.
