The Royal Mile: High Street and the Tron Kirk

Come August and the Festival, this stretch of the Royal Mile outside the Fringe shop will be packed with street entertainers and their audiences. Today though, you can see down past the Tron towards the Cannongate, all the way to the Firth of Forth.

Only a month or so till the Fringe programme is out; then the annual countdown starts in earnest.
