Up on the roof
It was lovely to have some sunshine in the morning and I managed to get a couple of hours gardening done.
When we returned from our afternoon walk, Bertie was sitting staring out of the window and suddenly started barking. It was his warning bark, letting me know that there was an intruder in the garden but I couldn’t see any evidence of one. He just wouldn’t stop, so I sat down beside him and tried to follow his line of sight. It was then that I was able to see what Bertie could see: a black cat walking along the ridge of our neighbours’ roof which is just visible above the edge of our garden. I don’t know how on earth she got up there but I alerted my neighbour (blipper Wanderers13) so I know that she was enticed down to a safer level
We watched the film “Bank of Dave” tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it; a British film based on fact but with a bit of added dramatisation.
