Super Saturday

Another stunning day weather wise. It was also the Island Youth Games today. For the last six weeks children from Year 5 and 6 have been trying out new sports. Today was the final competition. Charlie has been doing Athletics. I am so proud of his performances, I could pop! He won his 600m race by a country mile and his sprint performance earned him first place too. He also achieved a personal best in the long jump! His district, Vale, also won the competition overall. A truly excellent day. :-)
