Bright and cheery

.... which is what the day was. There was even some warmth in the sun. Down to 4 degrees by teatime but no wind - a real bonus after yesterday (and tomorrow).

I took photos of gnarled tree trunks today but they look so grey, I thought this bright fabric far better reflects the day. It's a section of a patchwork tablecloth made by a friend who loves bright, bold colours.

I'll go back and photograph the tree trunks another time.
