now that was fun!!!

I've had this largish cradled board sitting in the hallway....it's 3' x 2'and i haven't done anything this size before, today was the day....and so this is the resulting crazy under painting using acrylic paint, acrylic inks, compressed charcoal.....and a lot of freedom!  It's very liberating to put these first 'dog's dinner' images here....

Now i have to let it all dry - the next step will be to start putting cold wax and oil down!!!   then the fun really begins :P

Sunny and bright and we're off to Sydney this afternoon - shopping and dinner out!
