Calm (Day 2842)

Somewhere through the night the wind died away and this morning it was blowing 60mph slower than yesterday. The morning wander with Sigyn in the stillness of the dawn was far more pleasant, and despite the frost on the ground, it felt warmer too.
It wasn't long before my beautiful wife and I were off to Stromness to the horses. We got some chores out of the way before heading out for a really nice ride with George and Jeepers. It was so nice I completely forgot to take any pictures.
After lunch at home, HV and I took Sigyn out another wander. It always amazes me how many dogs don't seem to get out for a walk except on really nice days. We walk in pretty much the same place every day at the same time, but it is only in dry, sunny and calm days that we see other folk out with their dogs.
Back home for a short stop then off to the horses to put rugs on and put some hay out. The weather is due to be a bit grim tomorrow.
Looking forward to fish and chips tonight.
