New build

Just ahead of those to two cars, the ones stood at the traffic lights, you can see The Old Police Station. Just behind that is a derelict building - once the home of 'George Ellis Office Equipment and Stationery' - and beyond that was, until recently, an empty lot.

They dug it up a bit before development started, looking for the foundations of older buildings, and I think I might have blipped about that, but now you can see yet another high rise going up.

Yesterday, at the market, I bought a magazine from a chap who spent a couple of minutes pointing out to me all the new buildings with nobody in them. It's a rum state of affairs.

Anyway, when I took this photo I was on my way to pick up the Minx from work before walked over to The Everyman to see 'Decision To Leave', which, I'm glad to say, we both enjoyed.
