Ribblehead

This is not where I planned to go today, I was leaving it for another day. I started by going to Hoffmann Kiln Craven Lime Works. The old kiln ruins were interesting to look around. Inside the tunnel was very dark and a bit spooky, no-one was there but I could hear the echo of voices from the other side. See extra.

Having explored all the kiln works I continued on the road with the intention of stopping at Stainforth Force. I didn't know where the parking was and drove down the road towards the river. The bridge was incredibly narrow and I wasn't sure I was going to make it across but there was no way to turn round either. There was no parking the other side and I didn't intend going back across the bridge so continued along the road over the moor and then turned towards Horton in Ribblesdale. Parking there was quite busy and I also noticed the clouds coming in so I continue along to Ribblehead to see what it was like, hoping for an atmospheric shot.
