The Ladies!

I love seeing the hens looking out for me as I walk towards them! They get so excited anticipating the goodies I bring! I'm pleased to say that my rat baiting seems to have worked! No new rat tunnels found! 
Oscar and Ivy had fun in the field - John and I were less happy as it was grey, cold, windy and mizzly!! On the way home I stopped for coal as I've used the last bag and my new order hasn't arrived yet. I received the £200 from the gov as I have no gas heating - first time this gov has made me happy! Final stop to get the ingredients to make a marmalade cake. Nellie is hosting another activity day in the village hall this sunday - pancakes and cakes to eat with craft activities to do. She is such an active woman. Thursday she and her partner went busking in Tavistock in aid of Turkey and Syria - made £145!!
