A Waiting Game

Dear O'H, Lovely Tea Jenny & Eldest Mini Princess,

Mary Doll is a bit under the weather…and bored. This means that she has gone into armchair management mode with Victor being her (reluctant) reportee! She was nagging him about making a check up appointment.

“He called and left a message,” she explained, “but he’s never heard anything back. IF IT WAS ME, I’d try again.”

Cue eye rolling from Victor and he went off to try (unsuccessfully) to get through.

Me: “If you haven’t heard back, it’s probably worth trying again next week. When did you originally call?”

Mary Doll: “This morning.”

Me: “What? Today? I thgought you meant it had been a while. Not sure we need to panic just yet”

I hope she feels better soon. As much for Victor’s sake as hers!
