Coffee morning

This morning we had a coffee morning at church to raise money for the children's home we support in the Ukraine.  

Margaret and I prepared rolls and sausage, and there was tea, coffee, cakes, toasted teacakes, all on offer.  There was also a raffle, and I was lucky today to win a box of chocolates, which is very unusual as I rarely win anything.  Also cakes and plants for sale!

It was good fun and I hope we raised a lot of money.  Margaret and Robert will be travelling in April to visit their son who works over there and will take the money with them, also the money from our ongoing bookstall which is all for them. All monies go directly to them,, no middle men! Good job!  Good fun too!
