Grey Heron

There were 4 Heron around today. This is the adult male again. He is a fantastic looking bird and it is such a privilege to see him up close. The young male met me on the hill by the dovecote (I have included him in the extras) the young female was on the path but I didn't get a great shot of her or the other one. They all have their own characteristics which is wonderful. The crows were following me around and even managed to snatch a bit of fish before the heron got to it! They got their biscuits on the way home.
