49/365 Waiting

Unfortunately there was an accident on the road on which we traveled from Auckland to Rotorua. We hope that no one was seriously injured.

It did mean that the flow of traffic stopped for almost an hour before it cleared. The vehicles pulled into the sides to allow the emergency vehicles through.

Friends from our village who are over here in NZ at the moment, staying with their daughter near to Rotorua bought her over to the hotel and we all went out for a meal this evening, how nice was that! They’ve been here since mid-December last year so of course we hadn’t seen them since then.
