It's not cake, its art.

It's the first day of this year's Bristol Southbank Arts Trail, a fabulous weekend every year, especially in good weather. Local artists exhibit their work for sale, often in their own homes.

Zed is away climbing with the Boulder Squad on Dartmoor. Me, Mrs W, and L find ourselves in Bubbahub where there is a happening called 88 Cakes.

It is an exhibition of hand-made cakes, as art: people invited to bring along and display cakes that reflect their thoughts/experience on the theme of "motherhood". Also some cake-themed spoken-word performances.

Not all the cakes here are edible, but this one was.
