Doctor Dan's office

First time we've been allowed to sit inside since the beginning of Covid! We've had to wait outside in the chair provided (in warmer weather) or in the car until Dan comes out to get us. Another patient was just leaving, no one else waiting inside, and when we came out, another guy had been waiting in his truck.
G's thumb has been bothering him for a few weeks. He phoned yesterday to make an appointment and had to wait to hear back after the receptionist checked with Dan. She called back to let G know that there had been a cancellation and he got an appointment for this morning - usually we've had to wait for days! Dan recommended an x-ray, so we went to the hospital and G got an appointment for Monday, a holiday but the x-ray technicians will be working. Dan will also be referring G to a hand specialist. Always good to see Dan, very lucky to have a doctor, and we always have a few laughs with him.
Extra: while G was waiting to book the x-ray appointment, I wandered around outside the hospital and saw a chair beside a tap. What's in that water? Couldn't believe the colours in the wall! 
Dropped off our recycling and there was neighbour Bill dropping his off too. We'll see him for coffee tomorrow morning. Picked up some treats to go with coffee along with the rest of the groceries.
